Mission and Vision

Our mission is to welcome and unite God's people to nurture faith through the Gospel, and provide opportunities and commitment to serve Christ through our Ministry within the congregation and the community.

Beliefs

We're a congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.  That means we subscribe or "walk together" with other LCMS churches in a shared confession of Jesus Christ as taught in the Bible.  This shared confession is described in a collection of writings called the Book of Concord, which we acknowledge to be a faithful and accurate interpretation and presentation of Biblical teaching.

In conducting the local mission of Faith Lutheran Church, our congregation holds to the historic Apostles Creed as a simple summary of the Christian faith:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.  He descended into hell.  On the third day He rose again from the dead.  He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.  From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian* Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
